High-precision intelligent equipment import
Polywell Machinery Ltd. was founded in 1990 and is principally engaged in machinery agency. To meet local industry demand for high-quality, high-precision machine tools, we import CNC machinery from around the world, covering mould equipment (machining centres, EDM, wire-cut, grinders), sheet-metal equipment (laser cutting, turret punch presses, press brakes), turning equipment (turning centres, conventional lathes) and special-purpose machines (gear machines, rapid prototyping systems).
Automation equipment manufacturing and integration
To meet customer needs we launched the in-house Smart Intelligence brand. Products include a 9-axis automatic polishing centre, automatic grinding centre, robot-integrated intelligent warehouse, flexible production systems and the Pro-Technic manufacturing execution system (PTMES).

Polywell began by representing small and medium German and Japanese machines. As manufacturing developed, quality and accuracy requirements rose and demand shifted from conventional machines to CNC, then toward high-tech, high-precision and high-speed equipment. We therefore introduced new technology and automation. In the early 1990s the Advanced Technology Department was formed to supply 3D optical scanning, precision metrology, 3D printers, SMT electronics, 3D laser welding machines and related professional training.
Polywell set up a China Trade Department for the mainland market. As reform and opening continued, state-owned, private and foreign-invested factories all needed precision machinery. Offices opened in Beijing and Shanghai in the early 1990s, then Guangzhou, Chongqing, Xi’an, Tianjin, Shenyang, Suzhou, Wenzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Ningbo, Qingdao, Dongguan, Shenzhen and Macau. In the 21st century, large showrooms and Solution Centres were established in Beijing, Suzhou, Chongqing and Dongguan.
Polywell actively introduces overseas technology to help manufacturers in Hong Kong and mainland China compete. Each year we take part in more than ten mainland machinery exhibitions, hold large in-house shows and Technical Weeks, and run seminars with professional associations. We also organise precision-machinery study tours and technical exchanges so manufacturers understand customer needs, and publish magazines, newspapers and company newsletters with the latest machine and technology information.
As product quality and variety keep rising, factories place more weight on machine accuracy, speed and service. To protect pre-sales and after-sales quality we select staff carefully and give engineers on-the-job and overseas training. The Engineering Department has nearly 500 pre-sales and after-sales professionals, pursuing high-end technology with the motto “fast, effective, customer first”. Polywell obtained ISO 9001 in 1998 and adopted SAP as the Group ERP in 2009.
